For seven years I have built data warehouses for insurance, banking, retail and ride-hailing: Kimball and Inmon models first, and today a fully metadata-driven Data Vault 2.0 platform at Swiss Life Deutschland.
Most of my work sits where performance and correctness meet: rebuilding slow legacy pipelines as set-based designs, tracing production incidents through query plans, and testing a fix against real data before it ships.
I also build the tooling around the warehouse, like monitoring and triage scripts, so the next incident is shorter than the last.
